Cashmere Museum and Pioneer Village, Cashmere, Washington
The Cashmere Museum and Pioneer Village was formed in 1959 with the purpose of collecting, displaying, and preserving local and regional history. It has the reputation, justly deserved in the opinion of most who visit, of being one of the best museums of its type in the Nation. Located in Chelan County of Central Washington State, Cashmere (and the Museum) is located along the Wenatchee River of State Hwy 2, about a 2.5 hour drive from Seattle through the Northern Cascade Mountains.
